Mobile proxies for Proxifier: step-by-step setup

How to route any software through a mobile proxy with Proxifier: add the server, write a rule, check the IP.

Proxifier routes the traffic of any program through a proxy, even if the program itself can't do proxies. Paired with a mobile channel it gives a live carrier IP to the app you need.

Why it's needed. Many desktop programs have no proxy settings of their own. Proxifier intercepts their connections at the system level and routes them through your channel.

Step one. Open Proxy Servers and add the proxy: address, port, type and login with password. For a mobile channel set SOCKS5, it passes any traffic.

Step two. Create a Proxification Rule and set which apps go through the channel. Leave the rest on Direct so you don't route extra.

Step three. Confirm the address changed. Open any IP-detection service and match the region with the channel's carrier.

Step four. If something doesn't go, check the login and port, turn off extra rules and confirm the channel is alive via a checker. Usually it's a typo in the access details.

If the channel supports rotation by link or API, change the address between task runs right during work. For multi-thread software and multi-accounting that's handy.

Your own mobile proxy from a phone works with Proxifier the same way. You spin up the channel on Android, enter its address and port and route the software you need.

Make your own proxies. Install the MobiHub app on Android, drop in an unlimited SIM and get personal HTTP and SOCKS5 with IP rotation. Save money and sell spare channels on the marketplace.
