Free mobile proxies: a myth or a working option

Why free lists are almost always dead, what makes them dangerous and how to get a real mobile IP without overpaying.

Free proxy lists are mostly server addresses that have been burned a hundred times over. They live for minutes, run slow, and there's no anonymity to speak of.

A truly free mobile proxy doesn't exist. There's a real SIM and paid carrier traffic behind it. If someone promises a free mobile IP, expect a catch: a resold channel or harvesting of your data.

The danger isn't only dead addresses. Through a public proxy your logins and cookies are visible to the stranger who runs it. For account logins that's a direct path to a leak.

Count it out. Downloading a page, a free list can still manage. Warming up a social account on it, no: the address rotates or dies mid-work and the profile flies into a ban.

Free server addresses are exposed by their data center. Platforms keep lists of such subnets and cut access at the door, before your first action.

The cheap and honest path is making a mobile proxy yourself. Take an Android phone, an unlimited SIM and an app that turns the phone into personal HTTP and SOCKS5 with IP rotation.

Such a channel even earns. You list spare mobile addresses on the marketplace and sell them directly to others, covering the SIM cost.

If you need a channel for a couple of hours, it's cheaper to take a ready one by the day than to build a phone farm. Count by the volume of work.

Make your own proxies. Install the MobiHub app on Android, drop in an unlimited SIM and get personal HTTP and SOCKS5 with IP rotation. Save money and sell spare channels on the marketplace.
